My family was super-impressed with this place! I had heard that the bowling alley had good food, but was skeptical. We were looking for somewhere for lunch that was dog-friendly as we were traveling from one Sierra campground to another. The Back Alley fit the bill! Not only did they have a nice outside set-up (due to COVID restrictions) with canopies and mist-blowing fans, but they had turf down on the ground so it wasn't too hot for the dogs. We had a fabulous server who not only greeted the dogs but brought them their own bowl of water. The food was good quality, plentiful, well-priced, and came out quickly - the onion rings in particular were delicious! My son and I both had the chicken sandwich - mine was grilled and was seasoned well and cooked just right so that it was flavorful & moist, not dry and stringy like some restaurant chicken sandwiches can be. My son's chicken was crispy and he said it was just right, though he had to ask for 1000 Island twice before it was delivered. My husband's burger was just as he requested, and our daughter's veggie burger was also. The server was super-friendly, helpful and attentive. We'll be back the next time we're in Bishop!

Who would think that a bowling alley would have a good seafood dinner?nWe heard the steaks are great, but we went for swordfish and lobster.nVery impressed! Go here!nJoel our server was exceptional!!! The whole experience was memorable.nWe will definitely be back!nRock on Joel!

When the locals tell you to dine here, there must be a reason. I ordered the Captain’s plate. It was very good. I’m here with several friends, they all ordered steaks. They all raved about how good they were.nService was wonderful, waitress did outstanding job, can’t emphasize how good the food is here. Definitely coming back again!

Their food is so good. It would be nice if they changed their restaurant name to something other then it is. Their steaks are mouth watering everytime. They are affordable..
