Backdoor Storage

I stored some furniture there, under the impression that this is a heated storage business. My curio cabinet is covered in mold and smells horrible. I put it in the garage and now the triple garage REEKS of mildew. The cabinet will require refinishing to get the smell out. I also had an upholstered loveseat, large chair, and ottoman there, and I'm doubtful that those pieces can be saved at all. It is saturated with mildew and unusable in the state that it is in. And that sort of renders the matching sofa that wasn't stored there useless as well because it is part of a set. I have called Back Door Storage twice during business hours with my concerns, and they have failed to return my calls. Apparently they don't care once they have your money. I want to know what they plan to do about this. Had they turned up the heat and run a dehumidifier I don't believe this would be an issue. I'm sure that I am not the only person that expects to get my belongings back in the same condition that I left them in. Those people should be ashamed and embarrassed of their business and themselves. The only person I would recommend Back Door Storage to would be someone I really didn't like. If you don't want to ruin your things, then absolutely, positively, under no circumstances should you store anything there at all, ever. And a personal thank you to the folks there for aggravating my fiance's asthma. Mold is unhealthy, didn't you know?
