It's okay but it's went down a little since the last time I was here. Not as clean as it should be as in the restrooms and showers. I guess new ownership so maybe a learning curve here. All in all still a Great place to camp with amenities.

Very reasonably priced. Clean restrooms and showers. Great for kids. Very safe warm and friendly environment. Woodsy setting. And only 3 minutes to the beach

Amazing campsite to stay at. My wife and her family stayed here for 3 days and it was such a nice camping trip. My in laws had an RV and the spot was nice and clean, the neighbors were nice, the campground was well maintained and the bathrooms were really close. If you're in Long Beach looking for a place to tent camp or park your RV, let it be this place.

Owner Nancy was very friendly but camp host was not. I would give it 4 stars otherwise.nnWe liked its location, very close to town and beach (less than 5 minutes). Wildwood is accessible via Sandridge that runs along Long Beach without hitting tourist stops and red lights.nnThere's not a lot of curb appeal when turning into the camp. But it got better when greeted warmly by Nancy.nnPrice at Wildwood is very reasonable. At $25/night up to 2 adults, it's pretty unbeatable. Hot shower is accessible at additional $.75 for 5 minutes. Plenty for guys but ladies felt rushed. The coin machine is outside of actual shower so it may be uncomfortable for someone to come out to deposit additional coins. Restroom is reasonable clean at its age, we stayed right next to it and didn't smell anything. Kudos to camp host for maintaining it right.nnFirewood is available at camp office for $10 per small barrow. We stayed for 3 nights when each night probably averaged 55ish degrees and used 2 barrows. Do bring an axe or hatchet with you to break them down to smaller pieces to make more lively fire.nnThere are wash basins, garbage cans and recycling station throughout the camp. Paper or cardboard recycling is not there and will be a nice addition.nnThere's not a lot of diversity in this camp ground, I think we are the only Asians there. People are friendly but current political climate does make us felt a bit uncomfortable especially after the encounter with camp host.
