Not very crowded and people are social distancing and wearing masks.
Horrible. Parking lot open to partial capacity, almost impossible to find a spot.
I have been here many times growing up and even as an adult. It's a small airport, but the space is always so nice and clean especially the bathrooms. On the drive up to the departures make sure to unload quick during busy holidays because I did notice that cars start to pile up. The check-in lines weren't long and moved up fast which tells me that the clerks are working as fast as they could. One thing that I do hope they fix are the luggage carts. Every single time I come back from a trip and try to get a cart, for some reason it's always jammed, but I'll still gave this airport 5 stars since the workers and atmosphere really make it worth it.
I've been there for 3 times. All employees were really helpful, friendly, and understanding for my parents who barely speak English.
This was my first flight out of FAT and outside of not being able to find the economy parking lot and having to pay an extra $4 a day for the regular lot, it was a good experience and I'll probably use this airport again in the future. This is a small but efficiently run facility.
