You do not have access to the airport with out a gate pass code. Tax money for the air plane owners.nThe airport once even had a picknick area open to the public.nNot any more.
Stopped for fuel at Placerville. Facilities are clean and welcoming.

Best small Airport ever
The airport is a great place to fly into and fill up on gas. The attendants are very nice and fill you up at the self serve pumps whenever they are free. The traffic is generally light unless there is a fire in the area when they set up a temporary tower and turn it into a fire base!
