I called Snell electric to come out to check out some of breakers in my place of business. He would not even let me finish my sentence and tell him what the problem is and did not quote me a trip charge or diagnosis just asked me the address. Since, I was desperate to fix the problem I gave him the address. Fifteen minutes later he walked in and again before I described to him what the problem is, he very rudely demanded $40/trip charge and $60 if I want him to diagnose the problem. I agreed since he was already going to charge me $40 then I figured another $60 would resolve my issue and that would be fine. But that was not the case at all, he found a broken outlet that would cost no more than $2 in parts, he told me I would charge you a minimum of $50 to change the outlet and can't guarantee that it will fix the problem, which in that case you would need to re-wire the outlet for $2000. I told him no that's fine I'll get another electrician over to see if I can fix this and paid him the $100 he asked for. After he left I walked around the office and found a sub-panel that one of the circuits had tripped. This guy didn't even have the decency to look for the possible sub-panel for the $100 he charged me. He was a total fraud and a rip off. I will never use him again and would not want anyone else to use him either.
