Interesting new venue. The building is cute and there are great views from the surrounding patio, but little shade. There doesn't appear to be running water here yet. One day the Bridge Yard will be the centerpiece of a grand new waterfront promenade, but for now it is a bit out of the way. I look forward to seeing how it develops.

this is one of my favorite venues as I has glass looking down into the floor underneath the building. It's a very pretty venue and overall fairly functional. But I think I like is a nice big ceiling height so you can have a decent trim but still have a nice cozy show.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Good location. If you book fitting fleet week you get to see the Blue Angels flying about.

Great starting point to run/walk/bike the Bay bridge. Nice big wide open parking lot easy to get to. It would be nice with nice flushing toilets but not picking.

The Bridgeyard, is a 24,000-square foot, 1930s-era industrial building that has been beautifully restored. This location was once used as a train shed for the Key System Railway until the railway across the Bay Bridge was abandoned in 1950. The building, located in Oakland at the foot of the East Span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is owned by Caltrans. The building at 210 Burma Road in West Oakland is part of the future Gateway Park in the East Bay Regional Park District. The shoreline park has planned beaches, meadows, convenient access to the Bay Bridge Trail, and expansive views of the Bay. I love the exhibits on the bridge’s construction. There is a lovely amphitheater in front. I can see many cool events here in the future.
