I'm so happy to have found such a place to explore close to home. I never knew there was such a place until I used Google's places near me to explore. Definitely a gem and great stroll, even better is it's free admission. This place is well kept, many pergola's to take some beautiful photos. There are also tons of beautiful kois, although I couldn't spot any turtles. The views and small trails are just what I needed for the day.

This is a quaint little gem in Hayward. I have always enjoyed visiting here, the koy pond, trees look beautiful and the vibe here is very peaceful. It gets a bit crowded over the weekend specially because it's a popular spot for shoots. Very kid friendly, they will love the fishes and pond.

What a hidden gem in Hayward! Free parking, no admission fee. It's not a huge park but definitely a picture opp with every turn. Some people brought in picnic but with social distance observed. We came on a Sunday a little after 1pm and the parking lot was not even half full. Definitely will come back.

My young sons and I have been here a couple of times and we always find it very relaxing. They love reading all the plaques, finding hidden pathways, and seeing the coy and the turtles. Highly recommend!

Well maintained boutique bonsai tree park with small pond. Its a very small park to admire well groomed bonsai trees, pond and photo spots. Don’t expect to do any hiking or rigorous walk due to its size.
