Merit School of Leeland Station

My children have been attending the Merit School of Leeland Station for over a year now and we have had nothing but a great experience. The school is clean and secure and the teachers are knowledgeable and truly care for my kids. I have both a toddler and a school age child and the programs for both are great. My kids enjoy each day and are ahead of their peers when it comes to development and kindergarten readiness. We have made connections with other parents as well and have met some of our best friends in the local area here. I highly recommend this school if you are looking for a safe, caring place for your kids to be taken care of, learn, and grow.

Everyone here is amazing! I took a tour and loved watching the interaction of the staff with the children. They truly treat them as if they are their own! Looking forward to my little starting soon.

In all honesty, this is probably the best daycare we toured and I’m so glad we switched to them. We were with another daycare in the area and after multiple safety concerns and attitude from the staff, we decided to make the change to Merit and I have never looked back. It’s clean, I mean I can honestly say that not once when I’ve walked inside in any of the rooms it’s never smelled like overbearing bleach or dirty diapers. It’s affordable, the teachers are incredibly kind, the communication is great-I know I can get updates through the app and from whatever teacher is covering his class even if it’s not the lead teacher, they handle complaints very well and very quickly. The playgrounds are great, and they do a good job of getting the kids in to a familiar routine to adjust well to being there. While at the school, I’ve only had two issues which were resolved very quickly. The first one was right after we started, which we realized was not a teacher issue. My son was just getting bored in his classroom so as a trial, he was moved up a class. He did great and has done great since then, that was about two years ago. Our second issue was with medication for his nebulizer, but as soon as I left Sherri a message to voice my concern she called me back within ten minutes and cleared up our previous miscommunication. The people at the front desk are kind and if they don’t know the answer to what you need, they find someone who can. We unfortunately had to leave because my husband was transferred overseas but my son still talks about how much he loves his class and his teachers (AJ, Katelyn, and Brittany in particular ❤ufe0f). We hope to be back to visit soon!

The Merit School at Leeland Station is everything we need, want, and more! So many great things to say about the teachers and staff as a whole. We have been apart of the Merit family since they were considered Minnieland. We toured a couple other places in the Fredericksburg area before deciding on them. When we went to the older location of course they weren't the brightest and cleanest since it was an older building but we felt so much better about the vibe we got from the people. A lot of those people are still here 3 years later. The new building of course is so clean and well maintained. The classrooms are big and full of playful toys and educational toys. They are always doing art projects and displaying it for everyone to see. I would and have definitely recommended this daycare/preschool.

We couldn’t be happier with Merit School. My son’s teachers love him like their own!
