YUM.nThis place is definitely worth a stop. The pulled pork sandwich and Brisket sandwich were both 5 stars for sure. I’m not usually a brisket person... but this was done RIGHT. It was juicy, tender and I could really taste the smoke in it.nThe banana pudding was good as well.nAlso, the woman behind the counter was so friendly. This is a family business so I’m very happy to support it.nThey don’t have any tables in the restaurant at the moment(march 2021) so we got ours to go and went 5 minutes down the road to Locust Shade Park.nNothing better than good BBQ in the sunshine.

3.5 Stars - rounded up to 4 - Big Bad W BBQ deserves high praise for their ribs with a nice smoke ring, balanced flavor profile, and a perfect pull off but not fall off the bone texture. For 2 of the sides the corn bread was good and the black eyed peas were flavorful but a touch over cooked. 1.5 stars were lost for the wait time - 15 minutes was estimated by the attendant and it ended up being 35, there throughput was not meeting demand, a demand which did not appear overwhelming to this untrained eye - the extra bbq sauces included were woefully inadequate for the amount of food purchased and the mild sauce had an overly Smokey flavor reminiscent of liquid smoke - the smoked whole chicken wings were bursting with flavor but very dry, especially for dark meat - the second side , Mac and cheese was salty and the noodles were severely over cooked.

Big Bad Wolf is quite an experience! They have fabulous wolf artwork, including a cutout that kids can have their picture taken with. Amazing food…the pulled pork was so good I ate it without the BBQ sauce! The mac and cheese is creamy, hearty, really delicious! I ordered online and they asked me specific things, such as what sauce to put with the order, and I appreciated that. Mr. Leon has a reputation for caring and service, and I can see why…his business is very well run, with an eye to details. (Those desserts on display are still calling to me!)

We love eating here! Food is always delicious and gets delivered quickly. Staff is always polite. My favorite is the mac n cheese and brisket sandwich. Husband loves the jalapeno cornbread, ribs and coleslaw.
