They offer a great opportunity to children with special needs by providing activities throughout the year. Our child loved the gymnastics program this year that was offered.

This place never answers the phone or calls back. Poor customer service. The teenagers that work at the game are really good and personal (which you'd expect the adults to be but not so much). As for the youth sports portion, refs are not well trained and the kids suffer due to it. I've coached and found it less organized than other rec leagues I've worked with. They could use a new athletic director that wants to enhance service and experience.

As a Coach & Parent: The Pros and ConsnPros- I’ve had an amazing experience with players and families coaching flag football/ basketball. Being a coach was a great way to show parents that coaches not only cared about each player/child but showed responsibility for each player/child as well. I wanted to change the atmosphere and create a happy but fun environment for our children. The league is fun and well rounded at times, meaning somewhat competitive. The referees are basic and friendly, I’ve only had an issue with one referee for the three/four years I’ve been coaching regarding players safety. Due to the huge amount of references and parents that wish to have their children returned to play under me, I think I’ve done well. Parents aren’t bad if coaches know how to communicate and keep their children involved. Coaches like myself will go the extra mile, We will bring water and Gatorades to practice, many of us buy practice equipment, pick up and drop off children/players, buy our own trophies to present, and even treat our teams out to a restaurant or etc. (Money spent from our pockets)nCon- My bad experiences have come from the Stafford’s Park management team. I don’t know where to start but my biggest issue this past two years has been super teams. Favorable coaches have been able to keep their star players which creates a huge disadvantage for teams in the next season. Its hard to have a competitive game when a coach has 7/9 very talented players on their team. SO, we are clear! management doesn’t allow players to return to their teams, so this rule should apply to everyone.nAnother Issue- Coaches that shouldn’t be coaching. We have to many coaches stuck on winning games instead of developing the youth. We have to many kids new to the sport that’s not getting the time they need to progress and develop. My most recent issue during the last basketball season, my son was assigned to a man that didn’t want to coach, therefore he was always late to practice, late to games, yelling at our boys in a angry manner and even forgot to bring the kid’s jersey to compete. These unacceptable actions went on for about a month. I was basically coaching this team in his absents as I was also coaching my daughters’ team. Other parents and I were tired of this issue and reported it to Jennifer L. Musa. This was another issue that fell on deaf ear as they had a responsible coach vs the irresponsible coach and choose to stick with the irresponsible coach. They ended up losing players including my own. Be aware that they will not take the time to resolve an issue unless its dyer and will affect them. They only care for numbers; Stafford Park’s management team needs to be evaluated and held accountable for their actions. I not only speck for myself but many parents that must deal with this every year.

Good sports for Rec level. A tad disorganized as they depend on volunteer coaches but happy the Cou ty offers sports.
