The Center is a comfortable place to be. It is a warm and relaxing atmosphere that feels whole the moment you enter. I have found all who work there easy to speak with the programs, such as the recent drumming event, well worth not only the price of admission but staying up late on a work night. Thank you.
I love The Center. I moved here from MD in July, and I was looking for a place to practice that would be comfortable, professional, and inspiring. I've had classes with almost every instructor at the Center, and everyone is wonderful. Jason Nichols is my favorite instructor; I take Slow Yin with him every Thursday. I also love Sarah's power yoga (my aspirational yoga class!) and Crystal's community classes. Everyone gives wonderful instruction and is very positive.
I love the whole feeling of The Center. It allows people to feel calm yet challenged all at the same time. Everyone who works there is welcoming and you always leave there feeling better than when you walked in.
I have been attending classes at the Center for almost a decade. Classes are scaffolded for different levels, so you know that you can come as you are and have a great class. Suzanne is wonderful, as are all the teachers there. I would highly recommend The Center for general health and mental wellness.
What a treasure The Center is for Harrisonburg residents. So many highly trained, experienced, and giving teachers in one place. There is literally something for everyone at this yoga studio. You will always be welcomed warmly to class and given individual attention. Teachers do such a great job of guiding students through their practice, no matter what their level is or what their limitations might be. Everyone is welcome and everyone is loved!
