We are new to town and wanted to get take-out breakfast to help business during Covid. It was yummy. My husband got chicken fried steak, one of his favorite dishes. I tried the eggs Benedict. We will be back soon.
My sons woke Saturday morning asking to go eat pancakes. We got dressed and headed for The Town House. As my sons and I entered the building the female employee behind counter barks out “HEY!” I look to her wondering what was up and she says quite rudely “The kids (5 and 7) have to have masks on”. My 5 year old can not medical wear a mask. He was born with bilateral cleft lip and palette, as well as some other facial abnormalities that restrict his breathing. I did not bother to try to explain because she was already quite abrasive. As if the limited hours were not enough, a rude staff does not help this business.
The food was good. They only had a half glass worth of apple juice left, so the waitress reduced the price I paid for it accordingly, which is appreciated.
Our first time there but everything was great, we wl be eating there a couple times a week from now on.
