I've driven past the signs for over 30 years, always on the way to somewhere else, and never taken the time to see how far off the highway this place is.nI won't be skipping it again.nThe name says it all.... there's a parking lot, restrooms, and a viewpoint on the high spot of the property that gives you an overview of the entire Hood River area. I'm not sure if, on a clear day, you can see all the way north to Mt Adams or not, but if that turns out to be the case, it'll just be a bonus on top of the Oregon view.nThe viewpoint is not far off of Rt 35, so my uncertainty about how far I'd have to drive was completely unfounded.
Quiet and relaxing panoramic view. Mount hood is barely visible during a cloudy day.
Short steep climb to the observation structure. Great views.
Great view or mount Hood! Small parking area with bathroom
Great views and reasonably quiet. Worth a stop if you're close by!
