The Carrillon is under wraps right now, so check back for the unveiling...meanwhile, spend a few minutes at the Iwo Jima memorial, just steps away
Beautiful view of the Capital sky line
Under construction and no flowers blooming but good view of DC monuments. Grass and area well taken care of.
You are treated with an impressive view of the lincoln memorial, Washington monument, and Capitol building all at one time. I would recommend coming here during sunrise for some great photo's that you can only get in this area. In addition to that you are close to the Iwo Jima memorial and Arlington national cemetery both of which are must see's on a visit to D.C
