My four sons all attended Swanson Middle School. The youngest graduated in 2015. We had an excellent experience at this school. There were several instances of teachers really going the extra mile for my children. The band experience was exceptional. The plays that are produced by Swanson students are amazing. I've worked with several counselors during our many years there who have been very helpful. The social studies experiences with American History (reenactments) are fantastic and we had a lot of really great science experiences (trips to the Chesapeake) as well. I thought the Swanson experience was a great transition time between elementary and high school.nnParking is a challenge at the school. There isn't a lot of street parking and there are only 1-2 visitor parking spots during the day.

My first day of school was okay. They need to get better bathroom and actually have stuff to do at recess. But it was awesome. c:

Bravo! Excellent! Best school since sliced bread! I wish I could give it 6 stars but I can't because it won't let me rate it 6 stars!
