Good place to do some walking. You can hit 4mile trail, catch some of the river....
This is nice rest area on W&OD for filing water and deposing any trash. They have various displays to educate about Chesapeake Bay watershed and pollution. This area have children play area along with adult stretching area.
A nice new place to stop on the north/west side of Columbia Pike off the WO&D trail. There are picnic tables, benches, a water fountain and a small circle for kids to practice riding their bikes. A few tenths of a mile further along the trail is a larger park with a playground, BBQ grills and another picnic area.
Park at sundown Friday, looking from side walk, into playground circle with a sand pit, near water which needs to be off as boil alert today 11/8++?. Photos over the too narrow and high curbed bridge, at busses and traffic including sunset, traffic sign, and Arl Mill Community Center
I like it, it's very nice to walk around there
