I know that I came here with friends and family and people visiting from out of the state and all had the best time at Rock Creek Park. I recommend it and didn't come here for a long time, but will soon.

Grove 10 has interesting history nearby. Directly across Rock Creek are the remnants of White’s Mill (1759-early 1800s) and the mill chase. If you walk up Beach Drive close to Wise Road you’ll see two places where in the 1940s & 50s teenagers parked their cars and mingled on large boulders to enjoy sweeping views of Rock Creek. Some carved their initials in trees with dates from the 1930s, 40s & 50s. Please, please, please do not harm this archive by making new carvings on the trees. Thank you.
