There's a new dog park here. It's pretty good.
Nice park during the day. Closes at sunset but it appears to become a homeless and ne'er-do-well hang out spot at night. It could be a much better park with a little more investment from the city. Not sure who is in charge of it though.
Hecking great place to do parkour drills.
The park is nice. It was pleasant, but I did notice a homeless man lurking in a underpass area.
My 2 year old really liked the sand box. It is conveniently located, close to our hotel, and on a path that we took to Roosevelt Island. Sand box had a piece of trash or two in it, also tons of leaves and branches, etc. I still felt alright playing in it after I removed the little bit of trash that was there. We went often.
