For being in a progressive location this place has a lot of racist employee's, especially those with leadership positions. The main issue are with the leadership of the support staff, the Office Director (who also runs both local offices) hires her Caucasian friends with behavioral, drinking and drug problems but routinely causes issues with minority employee's to the point of harassment. Her standards for hiring minorities are much higher and expects them to behave a certain way at all times, and be of a certain age or gender, meanwhile the Caucasian friends she likes to hire can be of any age or sex, they can disrespect other employees, harass other employee's, perform badly and they constantly get rewarded for their loyalty to her. It doesn't help that the HR staff in the leadership roles are her best friends and run the place in a similar fashion.

Looking to advance your career? If so this is the right place but only if you leave within a year or two, if you stay too long you risk becoming a liability or part of the problem. Just like high School, only the bullies, pretty people and the brown nosers come out ahead. Looking for a promotion? You better make sure you have friends in high places, otherwise you'll be pass over for the aforementioned. Every year they hire naive college kids to take over your positions because you're being paid too well or the partners don't like you and you're getting in the way of a juicy bonus cause you're being paid too high for the years you have dedicated to them. Loyalty, hard work and dedication can only take you so far, if you want to establish a name for yourself in an accounting firm go look at the top 4 or another firm in the top 10, this company is a joke an should only be use as a stepping stone to the other big players.
