Cathy did a fantastic job cutting my hair and we had a wonderful conversation about our dogs of the past. Highly recommended her! Very reasonably priced as well! Will definitely be coming back.
Absolutely do not go here if you have any care about the way your hair looks. After searching the city for a haircut, I came across this place as a last resort. I figured a semi-decent haircut would be given in exchange for $18. The younger stylist did not seem like she had received any training whatsoever. I also felt a weird sense of discomfort and not being able to look at a mirror. Anyway I asked for a simple short back and sides with a trim on top, so figured what was the worst that could happen. I was left with a choppy mess that I had to ask to be fixed several times, before leaving very disappointed and having my friend sort out the mess for me later. Don’t waste your money here and book and appointment in advance with one of the nicer places up town. There’s a reason why those places require an appointment.
I just called to make an appt and got her message line. It clearly states her regular business hours are Tue thru Fri from 10 to 6. The message goes on to say that due to doctors appointments, she'll be closed Wed and Fri. If you show up and she's closed during regular hours you may want to call and listen to her message... I think she's making a reasonable effort to inform people of changes in her schedule. Life happens... be kind.
Cathy does a very nice job of cutting my hair and is a very nice lady. The shop is clean and comfortable. Her hours are limited and I have been surprised a couple of times showing up when the shop was closed. It pays to phone ahead if you are coming a ways like I do.
If I could give her zero stars I would. Just horrible.
