My favorite dog park in Lexington! They have 2 separate, large, fenced in areas where dogs can safely run and plan. Usually busy during the warmer months, including fall & spring. Both entry ways are double gated so dogs can safely enter and exit the park. There are a few benches on either side and the larger area also has a grove of shade trees. My pups love it there!
WARNING This park allows unaltered male dogs. I've never been to a dog park that allowed for this. My dog was attacked 3 times in about 10 mins, all by territorial unaltered males. Please keep your dogs safe and avoid this park.
Big area for the pups to run around and play. Usually a good amount of other dogs and there are 2 large fields - sometimes it seems to be split a bit by dog size (more-so at other city parks). It would be nice to see some minor improvements and better upkeep but its pretty good overall.nPro-tip - it can get very muddy certain times of the year, plan accordingly as I see people all the time tip-toeing around. Dpuble Pro-tip - Go to nearby BooneDogs with your dog before or after.
Great park, well maintained. Nice and spread out with lots of green space.
