My wife and I really enjoy good atmosphere, good food offerings and excellent service. Distilled is just such a place. You willnMost certainly not be dissatisfied. We give Distilled the highest marks possible and we will be returning once again soon. You owe it yourself to make a reservation now. John and Darlene Webb

We were there for New Years Eve and they had a special four course menu. The food was amazing, perfectly cooked and visually pleasing. The service was timed well, even though we had a late reservation there was no rush to the meal at all. Our server Zach was very nice and prompt. The cocktails were amazing - definite shout out to the bartender for that. Will definitely be back when we are in Lexington again.

WOW is all I have to say! This was our first time visiting Distilled on Jefferson and we will DEFINITELY be back!! The atmosphere was so cozy, the appetizers were amazing, our entrées were delicious, and the desert was, well...perfect! All this and Steve our waiter was BEYOND attentive! He had 5 tables that all sat down at one time and he was AWESOME! He made our dining experience top notch! We HIGHLY recommend visiting Distilled on Jefferson!!!

If this review were just about food and wait-staff, it'd be five stars (oh wait it still is five stars)...we'll get to the almost-detractor in a moment. When it comes to food, it rivals the Michelin starred restaurants I've been to. The menu is phenomenal and seasonally appropriate, and portions are generous. When paired with the price (expensive, but not Michelin expensive), you'll find it's a great deal. Not to mention a very nicely curated wine menu (I had a red-blend from Portugal that was simply luscious) and delectably mouth watering desserts. Oh, and it's Kentucky, so the bourbon selection is good.nnI almost dropped this to four start on the basis of poor interior design. As a baseline, it's very comfy and cozy so don't be worried you're going to be uncomfortable (the chairs are quite comfy). It's more that the quality of the interior design doesn't match the deliciousness of the food. They use dropped ceiling tiles (mismatched in areas), basic can lighting instead of decorative fixtures, the bar-cabinetry doesn't go all the way to the ceiling, and the tables are, well, basic. I honestly think that the only thing keeping this restaurant from a star is the interior...and if that's the case, then you're getting star-level food without the star-level price tag.

The food was fantastic and the service was great. If you’re there for the food, you won’t be disappointed! However, the signage on the outside of the restaurant states, ‘bourbon bar’ so we were surprised that they didn’t have a bourbon menu, and the bartender was not very knowledgeable about bourbon in general. We’d recommend adding a list of available bourbons to their menu (either written or digital) so customers don’t need to leave their table to inquire as we did. Unfortunately their bourbon prices were ridiculous, for example a single shot of George T. Stagg was a whopping $80! Overall a good experience in the end.
