This establishment is a Lexington staple for fine dining. From beginning to end, Dudley's provided a great experience for an upscale date night.nnThe inside is remarkably well kept and harkens to Lexington's roots as the horse capital of the world. The chairs feel worn, giving them a comfort unobtainable with brand new furnishings. Wood surfaces are well polished, and high ceilings give an air of elegance without feeling excessive or gaudy.nnWine and cocktail list is appropriate, and I appreciate the variety of options for wine by the glass. Unlike many restaurants, the staff (at least our waitress) seemed capable of describing wines beyond their varietal, helping me narrow down the perfect wine for the evening.nnFood. I ordered from the standard menu, while the person I was with ordered from the specials...the specials are clearly where this restaurant excels, so I recommend taking advantage of that. There wasn't anything wrong with my food, it just wasn't particularly, well, special. The food from the nightly specials however, was creative, prepared perfectly, and clearly demonstrates a kitchen staff that enjoys a challenge.nnOverall, this is a great place to eat, particularly if you're looking for something special for a celebratory night out.

Definitely recommend going there if you are looking for a fancy restaurant & delicious food. Everything we ordered was so good! The service is what truly stood out. Our server, Celeste, was flawless. Friendly, informative, and efficient. Never needed a thing, but never interjected herself either.

This place has a very nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. Serving sizes where perfect and food was great! It was a bit pricey but as to be expected for a fine dining establishment. Had an overall fantastic experience.

We ate tonight on December 2nd on the rooftop with heaters and under tent and it was wonderful. My wife got the scallops and they were perfect... the staff and ambience is perfect for downtown Lexington. I have never had a bad meal here and very romantic. It was warm and we just wore jackets. I highly recommend!
