Went there for the first time today with my boyfriend for my birthday! The place is very cute, small but cozy. Love the area it's in, very pretty. The food was good! We both got Po boys and the dessert. The people there were very nice as well. They didn't use the pandemic as an excuse to avoid customers at any costs lol. Will be going back!
The only thing that was good about my visit was Anthony, he was pleasant, the cashier was very rude, the old fashion brown beans were from a can, the corn bread had no flavor to it, you need to switch corn meal, add some eggs and milk and just a dash of sugar to it, I came to that store when I was a child good people had it, I wouldn't recommend this place
What a fantastic hidden treasure. The barbecue plate was delicious. Can't believe I have never been here before. Will definitely come back!
It's no wonder there is always a long line here. The food is good and the service is quick. My favorite is the butter lettuce with steak salad - it has a tarragon lemon dressing. I liked it so much I went and bought some tarragon to use at home. A great place to have lunch -but get their early or after 1 to avoid the lines.
