Two disclaimers: I have only been knitting for three months, and I've only used the online shop since I live on the east coast. That said, I love the Churchmouse experience.nnThe website is user friendly and simple to navigate. I appreciate how much time they've spent providing detailed descriptions of all the yarns and projects for those of us who can't see them in person. They offer to wind your yarn for you (not sale items) which is such a help for us beginners. Each order I've received has been lovingly packaged and included a handwritten note. I work in customer care, so I can tell you that their openness to feedback and questions is rarely found. I just wish I could visit in person!

Phenomenal yarn shop. They provide great customer service - they'll answer your questions and recommend yarns for your projects. They carry a wide variety of yarns in gorgeous, saturated colors, which is sometimes hard to find even in specialty yarn shops. I made the trip from Seattle just to check out this place and was not disappointed. This may be my new favorite yarn shop. Some would say it's a bit expensive, but given the high quality of the yarn you're getting, it is definitely worth the price. If you're going to put your time and effort into a project, you want to make sure you use quality materials.

This store is amazing both in its resources and atmosphere. The wares are top quality and launched me into two immediate projects. The first (cute little woolen slippers) knit up in a matterof hours and are on my feet as I type with many requests coming in from those who see them. My next will be a gorgeous merino/silk cardigan. I loved the experience there. Thank you.
