Elkhorn Ranch Sleigh Rides

We lucked out and got a last minute cancellation spot and were super happy we did! It ended up being our first activity once we arrived in Big Sky and everyone loved it! The staff was super friendly and accommodating for our large group with lots of children. The sleigh ride was so peaceful looking at the beautiful scenery. I think the best part of it was the food though! We went for lunch and the chili and cornbread were to die for! Hot chocolate by the fire for the kids and a good selection of adult drinks for us to enjoy. They packed up all the leftovers for us to take home and we ate a whole extra meal of it. I would highly recommend Elkhorn Ranch Sleigh Rides!

Has to be the best in the area! I have only done one of these sleigh ride dinner experiences before. My first experience was great but this was just a bit better. And from what I hear, compared to the other outfits in the area this was the best for me and my group. Katie (our host) was super kind and helpful. Michael the chef did a phenomenal job with the food. All the staff really went above and beyond and made this experience! They even made it a point to let us know when they spotted the local red fox and did what they could to give us a great vantage point to see it from. This experience was a surprise for much of my group and all loved it! Thank you all at the Elkhorn Ranch for making our evening special! We all also loved your special send off!

This was such an awesome experience! It’s a must do AT THIS RANCH!! Katie took care of us from start to finish! The meal was delicious and the staff exceptional. It was very cold so bundle up but worth it. We couldn’t of experience the beautiful “big sky” as it was unbelievable! We can’t wait to do this again in the summertime! We have a fantastic time on our recent Lunch Sleigh Ride. We were a family of 6 in a private sleigh ride with a wonderful team of horses with blankets and crisp winter day with snow and all. Not only was this a unique excursion, but the staff made it very memorable even in these uncertain times! We enjoyed the sleigh ride with a beautiful view of the ranch and mountains and shared good conversation with our guide Paul. The food was amazing and we even got to take some home! We were able to learn a lot about the local area and share many other good conversations with KT. Covid precautions were also taken to make us feel safenI definitely recommend this adventure to anyone coming to the area but recommend booking in advance as the slots fill up quick!
