Camped here three nights with our three kids. Perfect amount of time to hike a few trails, try some fishing in the river and wade in the water to cool off. Private and quiet campsites. Hosts were super nice and welcoming. Outhouses were immaculate!
We hiked a trail located within the camp ground that ends at a waterfall. The trail was nice and clean, although a little narrow at times. Was able to bring our dogs on a leash and our 3 year old finished the entire thing without too much whining. Would recommend for families. Nye is just beautiful in the summer. Great option if you're looking for a quick day trip out of Billings.
Clean. Quiet. Waterfall hike is fairly short and worth the time. Fishing is difficult when water level in the Stillwater River is low.
Comfortable camping spots and room to breathe without neighbors right next to you.
Awesome campground, hosts are friendly, place is kept clean, amazingly beautiful hikes. One incessantly barking little dog, not much to do about that...
