Before I opened my own restaurant I frequented this place regularly, because I love the food. I have lived in many regions of South America and the Caribbean, and I was always impressed with the chef's take on classic dishes, but more importantly his fusion of different traditions in the region to create something new and phenomenal. Service has always been a little spotty (responding to other reviews) - but give them a break. This is not a big money financed place but a family living their dreams on a shoestring and great culinary talent. If you want something different to the big boxes, something where the love of the taste bud comes out in every dish, try Pasion Latin Fusion.

Food was mediocre at best. It took too long to come to table - and restaurant was empty! Soup was not delivered first but with the meal, and it wasn't even hot - (tasty enough though). Hamburger was ordered medium rare and arrived after about 30 minutes almost "well done". Fish tacos - a "good choice" as per our server, were really bad - fish seemed old and had a bad taste - less than mediocre. I hate to write such a bad review of a place that I wanted to be great, but... they have to get a lot better for me to even consider returning, and if this review helps, then so be it. If this were my restaurant I would require much more from my servers - to my guests/customers, and never let food like that come out of my kitchen! Robert Irvine would have kicked some ass...!!! We did like the decor and concept, and maybe if the owners were on site it would have been a different experience...

By far the best food I've had in Albuquerque. Innovative, fresh, different, and creative, I'm surprised this place doesn't have lines out front. Any other city and it would. I think if they did better advertising, were open longer hours and on Sunday, and hired more of a waitstaff it would really help. There were only 3 other full tables when I went, and one server, plus a lonely Spanish guitar player. I like the eclectic vibe of the place, but I don't know if it's doing much for the more conventional diner. Go support this place, you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic food! We went during a less busy time and had fast and courteous service. Will absolutely be back!

I've eaten here maybe 30 times in my two years in Albuquerque, and have never had food that I'd describe as less than excellent. This is our favorite local place, and one that we'll miss more than anywhere else upon leaving. The menu has changed recently, so several of my favorites are no longer available to order, but if you're at all adventurous in your tastes, you won't be disappointed here.
