Lower Palisades Lake

I arrived stressed but left relaxed & at peace. Met a lot of nice people as well. Definitely taking a fishing pole & bait next week though! The lake was popping with fish!

Absolutly stunning hike! Perfect for day hiking or backpacking and camping over night. 4.9 miles to get up to the lower lake and about another 3 miles from the lower lake to the upper lake. All around, very worth the trip.

Great short hiking destination for the whole family! If you go during the week it's not as busy. ud83dudc4dud83dudcaf Take a fishing pole with you and a Panther Martin and you'll catch little cutthroat all day long! My advise is to bend your barbs down on the hooks so they're easier to release! ud83dude0aud83dude09ud83cudfa3

I like very much I'll do it again. It will be nice to have a cleared area in the north end of the lake to get to the lake and be able to swim
