The Mountain Home animal shelter is a fantastic shelter. The facility is clean and welcoming and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. All the animals here are treated with dignity and respect and well cared for.

I called for a dying dove and after a while they sent me to voicemail and never called back, the dove passed away..
Found a kitten in the road. Not doing so good. Couldn't keep it. Took this baby kitty to them for help. They said they can't take it, due to we were outta there jurisdiction. Called our local animal control. No answer. I guess they are not humane about animals. But they sure offered to charge us to look this kitten and put a ton of money in it. Just goes to show money over powers care for babies in need
