Bonneville County Driver's License Office

I've had good experiences here in the past. Unfortunately, those good times seem to have ended. I went into the office last Friday. They said I had to make an appointment. They wouldn't let me make the appointment there, though, I had to call. I called. They said they were all full through the next Wednesday and that I had to call back Monday to set up an appointment for the next week. I'm not sure how they could be full already if you aren't allowed to make appointments until Monday, but okay. So now it's the next week and I've been on hold for 1 hour and 45 minutes. It first said my wait time would be more than an hour. After about 45 minutes the time started to go down until it got to 54 minutes, then it went back to to more than 60 minutes. I'm obviously never going to get an answer. There's no other options. I can't leave a call back number, I can't make an appointment in person, but they don't answer the only number in which to make an appointment. So essentially nobody can actually access the DMV now. I've spent my entire work break on hold and can only wait 45 more minutes (putting my entire wait time at well over 2 hours by that point). Absolutely unacceptable system. I'm beyond frustrated. It's not like a police officer isn't going to fine me for not having current registration, but apparently I can't actually ever make an appointment to do so, either. I'm irate.nnUPDATE: To make matters worse, after just over 2 hours on hold, someone clicked onto the line, however they apparently didn't realize it, because I could hear them typing and doing paperwork but they never actually spoke on the phone. I yelled to get their attention to no avail. After listening to them rustle with paperwork for 20 minutes, THEY hung up on me. So I spent 2.5 hours on hold for absolutely nothing. I'm now BEYOND IRATE. This is unacceptable. They need to change their system to one which offers callers the ability to leave their number and be called back in the order they called. I'll be filing a formal complaint if I ever actually get to talk to anyone.

Service was great. The wait, was two hours. We were told in line the DOT, changed to a new system, and due to that, everything was taking about 20mins longer. Also, if changing an out of state title, make sure the VIN is checked by an officer, if you don't take the vehicle to the DMV with you.

I had to wait outside in the cold for over an hour. But when I finally got some help the lady who assisted me was very patient and kind. The DMV is experiencing computer problems on too if everything else. So we need to be patient too.

They always give me a drug test when I show up. Do I look like an addict? Probably. Lol this is actually an awesome place to be if you need treatment. I recommend Jason and Jessica for counselors. The drivers license room is just how you think it would be though hahaha

They sent me a bill for $2 to register my RV. I knew that wasn’t right, and a couple days later I get a bill for $42. I mail in a check, then they mail my check back to me demanding more money! They need to get things figured out.
