Big Elk Campground

You know that favorite place you like to go and you really don't want to tell anyone about it because it will spoil the peace and quiet? This is that place. Small. Peaceful. Quiet. Perfect. Oh, and good stream fishing.

Beautiful place. Nice to get away from town. Still had Verizon service while there too, just in case we needed it.

Mixture of shaded and sunny camping spots. Ground at most spots is unlevel. However, the biggest annoyance is the other campers. Dogs barking all day, generators running, people hooking up their trailers to communal water spigots, music blasting... I could go on.

Nice campground. Not as busy as others in the area. Lots of opportunity here.

Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful, camp was very clean, and honestly thr bathrooms were very well maintained. All around great experience, we will camp here again
