Tried Grandpas for the first time this evening. Wonderful food. I am absolutely impressed, everything was home made and had amazing flavor. The Buttermilk pie is amazing and it is now my new favorite kind of pie. As we were getting ready to leave we were able to meet the owners. They were the kindest people you could meet. I will definitely keep coming back.

Best BBQ and Amazing people! They took the time to have a genuine conversation with us. They asked where we were from which felt so great considering how little we have been out since the pandemic began. Great place to stop and so close to the freeway! We will be stopping by again the next time we are in Idaho Falls ❤

It doesn't help when you can do BBQ pretty decent at home. I usually go to these places to get inspired and learn new things. When I came into their place, I was hopeful that I found a good old school BBQ dive.nWell, it was definitely old school...nTo the point, I was hoping for more, and it fell incredibly short.

Delicious! True southern BBQnDelightful owners with great service.nI never had two things they have but loved them.ncollard greens (much like spinach but not slimy) and buttermilk pie think light coconut pie joined in holy bliss with creme Brule and married by a custard minister. Got the Pecan pie to take home just cause I fell in love with it when I was stationed in Tennessee.nnP.s. I ate the Pecan pie for breakfast this morning phenomenal, perfect blend of sweetness and pecan.

At the first taste of the gumbo I was transported back in time twenty years and 1,700 miles back to Louisiana. The owner Lloyd and his wife Loretta were so personable I feel like meeting them was like catching up with an old friend. Places and people like this are so rare.
