Vernal / Dinosaurland KOA

Very nice park. The circle of back-ins are huge sites, quiet and peaceful. B12 was a level site. Grass near front door but about 5 feet of gravel first. Did not use facilities except the laundry which was clean but $2.25 for a wash. We extended our stay for 3 more days. It is so nice after all the high desert dust and grey/brown that we spent the last month traveling through. We will be back

It's located own a quiet road from mainstream Vernal. They have lots of activities for kids- minigolf, playground, disc golf, rental bikes and stride bikes, and a dinosaur scavenger hunt. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a short drive to Dinosaur National Monument (Quarry entrance) and many other dinosaur-centric museums and statues throughout Vernal. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Super fun KOA. Cabin was nice and clean. Friendly staff and fun area for the kids.

I am brand new to the RV lifestyle but stayed in 3 RV parks in 1 week in mid-August and this was hands down the best experience. The park is lovely, with a great atmosphere, and very clean. The picnic table under an awning was a nice benefit since I hadn't yet learned how to put out my own awning. The office was lovely and very clean with super friendly staff. We took showers on-site vs. using the RV shower, and the bathroom was extremely clean. Notice a trend here...clean! Yay! Our pull through site was perfect. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The cabin we rented was super cute! Just like a tiny house. Sitting near the fire pit in the evening and sipping coffee on the front porch swing in the morning were very relaxing. So far my favorite place to enjoy getting away. I highly recommend this KOA!
