This playground is found right at the square/traffic light in Wellington. This park has a little bit of everything, for a small family gathering to a large event. There is water, bathrooms, a large pavilion, large jungle gym and play area with swings, basketball nets, a baseball field, picnic tables next to large shade trees, a sheltered bandstand/ stage area, and plenty of parking. This is the site for the Pioneer days event and hosts thousands of people. The pavilion has lights and outlets and a soda machine! Our kids love to play tag at this park!
The kids had a lot of fun on the two big old slides and the newer plaground. Bathrooms could use some tlc and the hornets in the gazebo were oita control!
It was good
Great park with lot of trees for shade. Classic park equipment plus more modern plastic equipment too. Small baseball field next to park.
