Los Alamos County Golf Course

Love this golf course.

Great course, loved the pizza. Great friendly service. My family had a wonderful time.

Coming from my old home course (Taiyo golf course) LACGC provides me with some of the technical challenges I miss, Michael and the staff are on top of everything, excellent course!

The Los Alamos golf course is a great place for beginners to play golf. I'm a pretty terrible golfer, so things that some people consider great features, like water hazards or holes that require very accurate shots, are not things that I find appealing. LAGC doesn't have anything too crazy, and I find the course challenging enough to be fun without being overwhelming. The fairways are always well maintained, and while the greens aren't always perfect (I'm looking at you, #4) they're generally pretty consistent. The course is rarely very crowded and it's pretty rare to get stuck behind someone who 7 putts and takes a minute between each try like he's playing for a spot on the PGA tour. (You know who you are and I hope you read this). Everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful, the clubhouse restaurant is very good for a golf course, rates aren't terribly expensive, and the driving range and practice green are pretty nice. I play often, so if you're a terrible golfer too, look me up.

Beautiful setting, right in town. Well maintained course and there's a pro shop and restaurant inside. Never played but looks very nice
