A lot of history in this area, pueblos, spanish explorers and early settlers. But of course the more recent history was written with the incredible achievments of the Manhatten project.

Great place to walk dogs. Beautiful, peaceful, safe and relaxing.

There's not much left of the Manhattan project that the public can get to normally. This place has photos and history displayed in one of the only remaining buildings from the project. To see the rest, you have to go on a tour that is generally only offered a couple times a year. To go on one, you need advance tickets and provide birth certificates and ID beforehand. Worth it to go behind the fence and see some of the original buildings though

Great to experience something we read with our kids in our homeschooling.

Super cool history and a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed walking around and checking things out.
