First time eating here, food was good and hot, service was better than most places in limon alone. Friendly people not only staff but the people that are regulars as well. Kinda reminds me of the TV show CHEERS, Norm....

Just called at 7:24, as it’s listed here they do not close until 8. I was met with a woman named Trish screaming hello? We close at 7. I was shocked and hung up, thinking I called the wrong place. I checked again and I wasn’t mistaken, I called back to see why this woman felt it’s acceptable to yell at customers simply for calling and she hung up. It was a simple misunderstanding and i do not expect to be served past hours at all, human decency would have been appreciated and her rudeness wasn’t met with kindness. Killed my whole vibe.

Nice homemade food. Friendly staff and owner is awesome. Excellent homemade cinnamon rolls. Order dozens to go. Call in.

Family Meals at this spot - excellent. Very savory. I've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. Prices are appropriate.

Ever see a tiny cafe in an out-of-the-way place in a movie where the locals come to eat a delicious meal, and wish you could enjoy such an experience? This is that place. It's not a high-end establishment, and we aren't talking about a Michelin star experience, but rather a down home experience that you'll enjoy as though a family member made it. The kids are treated as kids, the adults as adults, and everyone feels at home here. We had a steak, a couple of kids dishes, and I had the sliced roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. I kinda wish I had ordered a steak like my wife did, because the temperature was spot on, the meat tender, and the best flavor I've had in a long while. I also had a bowl of chili. Chunky, flavorful, and enjoyed by everyone at the table. Even the little things you take for granted, were wonderful, such as the fresh baked (and hot) rolls. The only thing that I wished was different, was the amount of food served. It is the amount you should be eating, but it is so good that you'll wish there was more of it. Well, order seconds! There were a few of the locals in there when we were there, and they began speaking with us. I'm originally from East Texas where conversations with strangers is not strange at all, so this was a very warm, welcoming occurrence. My family and I will stop in each time we pass through the area from now on.
