Traditional diner-style cafe that is exactly what you expect in a rural town in America. The fried potatoes really hit the spot, the coffee is continually topped off with a kind smile, and the food is filling.nThe kind servers were very helpful for our party of six and continually checked to make sure we had what we needed.nThe bathrooms were clean and there is convenient parking right on the street.
The biscuits were dry and crumbly, as if they had been made the day before. The gravy tasted like powdered mix. The scrambled eggs were tough. The red and green chile had heat but not much flavor. The reason I gave it as many stars as I did was because the waitstaff was really friendly and helpful.
Excellent food all the way around!nBurgers for lunch were great but, after returning the next day and having their breakfast, I may have found my new favorite spot for breakfast in Alamosa!nThe owner recommended the country skillet and it was phenomenal!nThanks for the great food and great service!
Super cute restaurant. It was the only place open at 7am for breakfast. Staff was nice and food was top notch!
Stopped here for breakfast while traveling. I had the Denver omelette with toast. Everything was prepared well. Their breakfast potatoes were unlike anything I'd had before: cut into flat round slices and cooked until soft, but not fried crispy. Buttery flavor. Very unique and tasty. I would definitely return!
