Consistently for the past more than the last 39 years this restaurant has impressed. I went there the first week it opened. I order a bloody Mary, hot. And sure enough! It came in a coffee cup. I got better at ordering. Twice Cooked Pork, some sweet and hot shrimp dish I figured out how to make, but don't recall the name of. Once, the fancy dinner. I forget what it was called. Emperor's special or something? You had to order at least a day in advance and my goodness, the food! Platter after platter of absolutely beautiful food, elegantly presented. This was in the '80s and it was $50 a head. And worth every cent.nThey have morphed over the years, keeping up with changes in American tastes and palates. I don't have the faintest idea if it is “authentic”. And what does that even mean, anyways? The food is beautiful, the menu wide ranging, fresh, and the menu keeps up with the times. So I can state with absolute certainty that it is authentic Suen artistry. And really, what more is there to great food?

Highest quality of any Chinese/Thai/Asian fusion takeout and I’ve had many. Menu prices are about 25% higher than a cheap Chinese place but the quality is 200% greater. The shrimp are much larger, and the chicken and beef are clearly fresh and a whole ‘nother level.

Long time customer, continued patronage even more through 2020 to support a local restaurant. Quality of food has continued to decline, while prices continue to increase. Now the restaurant is passing on to the customer what the credit card companies are charging them for you to use your credit card. Request condiments?.... those are extra as well but were included when dining in prior to closing their dining room which has yet to reopen. They’re even charging for fortune cookies??? My opinion is that they’re being a penny wise but a pound foolish. I’ll be looking for another Chinese restaurant to place my business.

Everyone told me this place was wonderful. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. The garlic chicken was very disappointing. Tiny pieces of chicken that looked like it came from a tin. I was thinking it may be more gourmet and was not expecting a larger portion but the tiny bits were a turn off. I door dashed so who knows if it was the dasher or the restaurant’s fault they also forgot the sushi I ordered. I really wanted to like this place. Maybe it’s more of a sushi spot and not a restaurant. Wish I would had a chance to taste the sushi.

Used to be my go to sushi spot but sadly the quality can be a hit or miss. The chef they have back there does a great job but some of the stuff doesn’t always taste fresh. Not her fault though, I’m assuming. Gotta say the prices are a little too much as well. Sakura is my go to now, cheaper and fresh quality every time.
