Stopped by on a Sunday to refuel (cheap gas). The airport was deserted, but we were greeted when we stopped the plane at the gas pump by a pheasant which came running across the grass to us and actually went under the plane before we got out. It then wandered back out onto the grass, seemingly unconcerned about us.nPerhaps someone comes by plane and feeds the bird? Only explanation i have for this incredibly unusual event.
