Was in town for work and tried The Flying Pizza out. Had lunch there 2 days in a row. Classic NY style pizza. In fact probably the best I’ve had in Ohio. The sauce is delicious. The crust and the bottom of the pizza has the perfect crunch. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I plan on returning and bringing a whole pie home to my family.

This is truly the only place in Dayton that has been a constant in my life for the last 45+ years. The same great taste same great ingredients. Best square in United States.Has never changed. Frank and Tony are great people ,if you've never been come check it out. One of Dayton's shining gems.

I used to frequent Flying Pizza 25 years ago and went today. New place is much bigger and with direct access to free parking in the garage, you don't have to go outside to get there. How many downtown restaurants can say that? Fast service, hand made pizza from scratch. It's in the family's blood. The firefighters from a block away walk down so it has to be good.

Used to have lunch here frequently when I worked downtown. Great, fast service and a friendly staff. I’m originally from New Jersey and their pizza is like a taste of home. Wish they were open on Sunday during football season.ud83dude0e

Discovered this longstanding gem recently and we can't get enough of it. Step off first and main into Brooklyn, NY. It is unapologetically new York style and the best I have seen in the Miami Valley by far. Easy free parking in the garage off 1st st or free 10minute carryout parking along the street makes it accessible for suburbanites like me (from Troy) to grab some while passing through Dayton. We have stuck with the plain cheese and it has never disappointed. Can't bring myself to try anything else
