Beautiful open spaces and wooded areas by the creek. Especially beautiful in a snowstorm. The gardens and fountain are a summer delight--popular for event photography with several iron gazebo settings.
This is a reay nice park. It seems to be packed a lot mainly at the playground park which is concerning during COVID. But on the trails you can manage to stay away from people for the most part depending on what time of day you go. I've noticed evenings are usually really busy here
Good for gettin' some air for the mind. And, for the ladies... The roses!
Its best to park by the Wetmore sports field. Parking down by the actual park can be a little difficult!
The Park of Roses is great! Beautiful flowers, herb gardens, gazebos, there's a casting pond, large open ball fields, a wonderful playground specially built for 2-5 year olds, hot moms. It's got everything wanted in a suburban living environment all while retaining that big city appeal.nnDid I mention hot moms. Playground area.
