Beechwood State Park

Lovely park to explore. A storm had recently hit when we visited, leaving stunning wreckage.

This was a great experience for us, better than I expected. The park is beautiful with amazing spots to set up your hammock and watch the sunset over Lake Ontario. Sal is the amazing groundskeeper that will show you around, he is passionate about the park and will do everything to give you the best experience. We love it. It is a more in nature camping experience with not a lot of people. There is no water or electric, you will have to carry your supplies to your camp ground, it’s part of the experience The fact that we woke up every day with the sounds of the forest was priceless. Please keep everything clean and respect nature. Peace : )

This is an amazing park for hikes and or swims (at your own risk) with awesome little kind of secret beaches and the whole place is an abandoned girl scout camp, it's a truly awesome place to bring the family and explore, sadly, a good amount of the structures have been ruined but the new groundskeeper is amazing and seems to be doing an incredible job with the property (thank you sal!) I would highly recommend this as a great place to take in amazing views and a fun adventure!!!

Very cool place to hike and explore! Sad to see vandalism, but fun, easy nature walk for families.
