I have used this shop to repair my 1984 diesel Mercedes. They know how what they are doing and they are honest. One of the times they worked on it, they had to tow it and it was stuck in a really tight spot -- but the technician managed it just fine. It's not easy to diagnose problems in old cars like this, and they are patient with people like me who have lots of questions and a really odd car.

Called 11/7 to ask if they would be available first thing 11/9 to work on my car if I dropped it off after closing 11/8 and they said sure. I dropped off my car as promised for an oil change, tire rotation, battery check, and brake cleaning. I left a message on their answering machine reminding them of what I had asked them to do later that same evening as well. 10AM rolls around 11/9 and I call just to check in. The guy answering the phone told me they hadn’t touched my car because they had no clue whose it was, what to do with it, and he didn’t even know that they had an answering machine. Finally, they get around to my car a little after 11:30. I get a call that my battery is functioning at “less than 10%” and that they’re draining my oil as we spoke. No biggie, the battery is under warranty from Toyota so I inform the guy I’ll take it there for a replacement after they’re finished. The guy on the other end seemed surprised, but no sweat on my end. 3PM rolls around and FINALLY I’m called that they’re finished the oil change after having issues removing and replacing the oil cap. My 9-hour oil change on my Corolla cost me $131, AND even though I informed them several times I needed my brake pads cleaned they didn’t even touch them?!?! Obscene, ridiculous, but I paid it. Then drove my car to my Toyota dealership, who inform me my battery is absolutely functioning at 100%, with no issues (which makes sense since it’s only 9 months old with an 84-month warranty). Why do I feel like I was ripped off, and narrowly avoided unnecessarily paying to replace my perfectly good battery at Featherly’s? Oh right, because I was. Horrible, dishonest garage. Shame on you guys.
