Chic's Marina

we rented a 3 day, camping pontoon. On the way to the camp (in the middle of the lake) the boat stalled out on us 4 times. we were able to sit out for few minutes and get the boat running again, long enough to get us to camp. we tried to use the boat for some local exploring, but had the same issue, however this time, it was during what was an explosive thunder/lightening storm. we were stuck, with our families on the lake and the boat wasn't running. This was still early in the day, so We called it in and they sent a replacement boat, at 7pm!!!. The boat we had didn't have oil in it!!!! they must know there is a problem with the engine because the kid who came to replace the boat brought oil for his ride back. Additionally we had to ask them for life preservers, as they stated they were under the seat. But during the storm, we went to grab them and low and behold, there weren't any! we asked for a prorated charge (don't charge us for the one day that we were unable to boat for most of the day) and they declined. the customer service that was presented so poor, and really made like whole situation wasn't a big deal.the kids that work the docks were awesome and super helpful, but there are a lot of marinas on the lake, so i would find one that will treat you better.

We’ve rented from them 2 years in a row when we visited Lake George. They are very family friendly and stress safety. We really liked the safety part considering my wife and I were riding with our young kids.nnFor safety purposes, you have to be 21 or older to rent. They go over setting up life vests and a review of the jet ski on land. There are several safety reviews prior to departing as well as a final safety check before they turn you loose in jet ski area.nnThe units are solid and pretty fast. My favorite part is the area in which you jet ski. You are in between a small island and mountains in the center of the lake and get to enjoy the full beauty of Lake George. All of us, especially the kids had a really fun time.

We rented a pontoon boat here during the week in August. We got there about 15 min. After opening and there was already a line to get the boats (with reservations) but it went fairiy quickly. The people who helped you get in the boat and showed you what to do were super friendly and very helpful and made us feel very comfortable. They were also great when we arrived back for the day. The boat was great. Ran smoothly, was very roomy and made for a great day on Lake George.

We took an hr boat tour and it was the best experience ever. Our captain was Dan . He made sure everyone was comfortable and safe gave us a tour around the lake and answered all of our questions. Thank you Dan for making it happen for us you are the best. Goodluck with everything. I would totally recommend Chics marina.

Got to the marina and they said they’re expecting 2 boats to come in one hour. One hour later 2 boats came and they gave it to a family of 4. “We rented it out to them because they’re renting for the day!” “More money” they said! I say they’re profiling! What makes you think we weren’t considering renting for the rest of the day sir!!! We test drive before we buy! Family of 4 for a 12 people pontoon! There were 11 of us!!! Paying costumers here buddy!!! Poor customer service!
