Half way into the summer and I am extremely happy with this camp. This is my daughters first year of going to camp and I could not have imagined a better experience for both of us. She comes home every day excited to talk about what new activities they did during the day, her new friends And amazing counselors. Even with all of the new guidelines and additional safety measures they had to make due to COVID , the camp still runs like a well oiled machine- I know she is safe there and appreciate how the staff goes above and beyond to make sure each camper is having a great experience. She’ll definitely be back next year!

Amazing! Can’t begin to thank Larry & Kathy enough! From the excellent staff, to the dependable and caring bus service (Larry) ; my son came home happy and exhausted each and every day. By 6am, you know what each day endures—it’s weather dependent-I get it all! Definitely be back next year! 100% fabulous! Wish I knew about it sooner.
My daughter has been coming to this camp for 5 years now. She looks forward to coming back every year. She has so much fun everyday and loves the trips. The counselors are great and make sure the kids have a great time each day. I know she is safe and happy here. A lot is included in the price also. Larry has always worked with me when I needed.
I am very pleased with Richmond County Day Camp. I knew from Day 1 I chose the right place when I picked of my son and he told me he loves camp so much. Everyday he comes home happy and looks forward to going to camp the next day. As a working Mom, knowing my son is happy, safe and enjoying the outdoors means a lot. All my interactions with Larry have been positive and professional. They keep the parents informed daily about all the fun activities the kids are doing with pictures, videos and notifications. Thank you to Larry, Kathy, all the counselors and supporting staff for providing all the kids with such a great summer camp experience.
