Max's Es-ca

The restaurant was beautiful, the tables are far a part, we felt safe. The food was good nothing amazing but good and great portions. We had shrimp appetizer, stuffed clams, and some beef with salad. For main course I had Pork chops and there delicious, but the highlight of the night was our dessert, we had fried Ice cream, it was amazing! My second favorite thing was our server Danielle, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. We will come back soon to try more dishes from their very large menu.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!nHave I got your attention , read on.....nFrom the moment we walked in and met Anita our Hostess, who did everything to accommodate us, to Jamie, who although not our waitress, was extremely friendly and chatted with us for a bit which was very pleasurable and welcoming. We then met our waiter, Miguel, who made himself known as someone I could trust, as my girl had “demands” for her order, LOL ud83dude02, and Miguel took it with a smile ( or should I say laughing) which is a good thing because he made us feel like we were HOME and we were Family.nTHE FOOD.........SIMPLY AMAZING, from appetizers to desserts, anyone reading this should should experience , MORE THEN ONCE!nAll of this couldn’t be possible without ALLISON, the owner of Max’s Esca , as without her guidance, I don’t know if our dining experience would have been the 5 Star Rating I’m giving ⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0f⭐ufe0fnOn a lighter note, for the first 20 minutes, we couldn’t figure out who this extremely accommodating woman was and when I asked to speak to the owner to give accolades to her and the staff, IT WAS ALLISON “THE UNDERCOVER BOSS” who was working just as hard as her staff.nIt’s been said to “Lead by Example “ well, Allison does just that.nHaven’t meet the genius Chef behind the Amazing food that came out of that kitchen but whomever it is, I’ll meet you next time , as that will be real soon.nnThank you ,nWe’ll be backnBill and Christine

Allison and Max have the best Food along with great Service. They are always on point and provide I believe the best meal on Staten Island. Don't take my word, order the rack of lamp medium rare, w potatoes and veg. Amazing :).

Food tasted good but they fell way short serving an 8oz filet mignon cold after waiting for it. The grilled octopus was perfect. Wait staff not very attentive.

This is a class place with great atmosphere that was happy to accommodate my vegan eating and created a delicious vegetable napoleon and vegan risotto for me. KUDOS!
