What a disappointment, they have a manager who clearly doesn’t know anything about the hospitality industry. We called for delivery, after an hour and change we call to see if the delivery they advised would be 30-45 mins has left. They tell us it’s 5 minutes away. After another 43 minutes we called back, politely asked if it has left, they advise us it was sitting there and they thought it was a pick up, even though we called twice inquiring about our “delivery” the manager says I’ll send someone right now he will be there in minutes. 33 minutes later we realized he wasn’t coming as it does not take 33 minutes to travel 6 blocks. We called back and the order was canceled. This is what happens when you make your delivery driver your manager. Not a single apology or anything else. Just a waste of time and very inconsiderate people. There are just as good options in LB who actually value your business. Especially with the prices this place charges. PS i was just very ting to a friend about this experience and he explained his wife got food poisoning while pregnant he didn’t hear and when they notified the restaurant they couldn’t care less. Some arrogance this place has.

I was looking for a good sushi restaurant and Nagahama is the place. Sushi is fresh and tastes great. Can get pretty busy and waits sometimes exceeds over an hour. But this place is worth the wait. Take out only! Love the Back Dragon Roll!

Yesterday was the first time in this restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We had great time with the courteous service, with the first-rate cooking and fine drinks and with the friendly price. We will absolutely return there in a short time.

My meal is always great from here. Miss sitting at the sushi bar, wish they would open for indoor dining again.

The best sushi in Long Island! It is a small joint and everyone can hear your conversation, so I strongly suggest not to speak of any personal matter in there. The head sushi chef and his wife are so sweet to me they are ICHIBAN! My son who is very particular with his food and rightfully so, will only want to eat Japanese food from a Japanese owned restaurant. Not Chinese owned, or Thai owned but from a true Japanese. All their rolls are amazing and the staff are extremely nice!
